Children’s day is on May 5th.On Children’s day, many families fly carp streamers (koinobori) and we celebrate children’s growth, happiness and prosperity.
Also Aoi-Matsuri( one of the three major festivals of Kyoto) is held in Kyoto, and Hakata Dontaku is held in Fukuoka prefecture.

５月５日は子供たちの成長を祈願する日。日本では各家々で鯉のぼりをあげて祝います。
また、京都では京都三大祭りの１つ、葵祭が行われ、福岡県では博多どんたくが行われます。
